DEPARTMENT OF PULMONOLOGY

Sciences,
Department of Pulmonology, was organized- nyy in the structure of the Institute of Therapy of AMS of Ukraine in 1986. The first head of the department was the candidate of med. Science Efimov VV Since 2010 and till now the department manages Dr. med. Science Krakhmalova O.O.
Since the moment of its foundation the main scientific tasks of the Department have been the development and application of new efficient methods for early diagnostic and therapy of obstructive pulmonary diseases, the prevention of pulmonary diseases from becoming chronic.
